Introduced in the 1960’s and exported to various nations, the M109 is still in limited operation. Several European nations have since replaced this howitzer with newer designs.
PzH2000: A modern 155mm self-propelled howitzer of German origin, the PzH2000 features a very high rate of fire and the ability to accurately hit a target up to 40 km away. The PzH2000 is currently being fielded in modest numbers by several European nations.
HMMWV: The M998 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, also known as Humvee, is a highly adaptable wheeled vehicle used for reconnaissance, troop transport and light cargo transport. Since its introduction, the HMMWV has seen numerous upgrades improving its combat capabilities.
CV-90: The combat Vehicle 90 is a tracked infantry fighting vehicle of Swedish origin. The design is highly modular, and allows for various configurations depending on the tasks assigned to the vehicle. The CV-90 is primarily fielded in Europe.
